A description of what this website does, written against what is actually in the page source and not copied from a template.
The short version
Two things on this site collect information. Measurement tags record how pages are used, and quote forms collect what you type into them. There is no account system and no shop, and no payment is taken on this domain. Everything below describes those two things and the other companies this site hands you off to.
Who this is about
This policy covers www.pelicancarwash.com and the two Pelican operations in Palm Harbor, Florida: Pelican Car Wash & Quick Lube at 31425 US Highway 19 N and Pelican Auto Care at 31465 US Highway 19 N. Pelican has traded on this road since 1987.
What is collected automatically
On the live site, two measurement tags load on every page.
Google Analytics 4 (property G-SZWHTRDJZF) records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, which site referred you, the type of device and browser, and which buttons on the page are clicked. The click tracking is specific: calls, directions links to each of the two addresses separately, and membership signup clicks. Google sets cookies to do this.
The Meta Pixel (ID 4333772513307327) records page views for advertising measurement and audience building on Facebook and Instagram. Meta sets cookies to do this.
Neither tag is given your name, your phone number or your vehicle details. What you type into a form is sent to Pelican, not to Google or Meta. Both tags are operated by the companies named, under their own policies, and the data they receive is subject to those policies and not to this one.
What you type into a form
Quote and booking forms appear on several service pages. Depending on which form it is, they ask for your name, your email address, your phone number, how you would prefer to be contacted, the year, make and model of the vehicle, which service you are asking about, and a description of the problem in your own words. The auto glass form also lets you attach an optional photograph of the damage, and asks whether you expect to claim on insurance or pay for the work yourself so the right paperwork can be started.
The coupon form asks only for an email address, with your first name and phone number optional. Joining the mailing list is a separate box that is not ticked for you, and leaving it unticked still gets you the coupon.
Submissions are received by this site and stored in Pelican's Wix account so the team can answer them. They are used to reply to your inquiry and to carry out the work you asked about. They are not sold, and they are not passed to advertisers. Ask any question about your own submission by phone, using the number at the foot of this page.
Forms carry two small anti-spam measures: a hidden field that a person never sees, and a check that the form was on screen for at least a few seconds before it was sent. Neither one identifies you.
Links that take you somewhere else
Directions buttons open Google Maps. Membership Join buttons open EverWash at https://app.everwash.com/, which runs the unlimited wash plans and handles signup, payment and cancellation itself. Anything you enter after leaving this site is collected by that company, not by Pelican, and is covered by that company's privacy policy. It is worth reading before you enter card details anywhere.
What is not collected
No account can be created. No payment is taken on this domain, and no form on this site asks for a card number, a bank detail or a social security number. No location permission is requested by any page. Do not put anything in a form's free-text box that you would not want held in a customer record.
Cookies and how to refuse them
The cookies on this site come from the two measurement tags described above. You can block them at source: browser settings can reject third party cookies outright, Google publishes a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and Meta's ad settings control advertising personalization on its platforms. Blocking any of them does not affect the site. The forms work with cookies switched off.
Children
This site is aimed at people who own vehicles and is not directed at children.
Changes
If the tags or the forms on the site change, this page changes with them. It is checked against the built page source, not maintained separately. Last reviewed September 9, 2026.
Reaching a person
